Overview

Physical Education is very popular amongst students at Applemore College.  We offer a wide range of extra-curricular clubs such as netball, football, trampolining, table tennis, rugby, cricket, rounders and athletics and celebrate our success in The New Forest Schools competition.

With access to specialist facilities such as our full-sized, flood lit, all weather pitch, swimming pool, gym and spinning studio students have many opportunities both in lessons and after school to improve their physical fitness and develop their inter-personal and leadership skills.

The Swimming Pool at Applemore Health and Leisure Centre is regularly used by our students

Students thoroughly enjoy representing their House through inter-house competitions which culminates in our Sports Day, which is always an event to remember.

We are a fully inclusive school and encourage our students to try new sports and develop new skills.  We believe there is a sport for everyone and look forward to welcoming your child to our team!
