Overview

Learning a foreign language has never been so important!  Here at Applemore, we give all students the opportunity to study French and Spanish and German (as an extra-curricular activity).  We aim to motivate and encourage language learning with active, communication-based classes.

We run successful, regular trips to France and Spain where students are able to immerse themselves in local culture and practice their linguistic skills.

At Applemore we truly value the benefits that learning a second language offers, therefore all students study French and Spanish at Key Stage 3.

As a result of this expansive programme of Languages, our students make exceptional academic progress and therefore our GCSE results are consistently well above national average.
