Dear Parents, Carers and Students,

We are delighted that Applemore is open as usual tomorrow and can’t wait to see everyone back!

The last thing we wanted to do was close the school and lose the flow and momentum of learning post half-term. Unfortunately, factors outside our control made it an impossible situation to remain open on the grounds of safety for our community.

I know many of you as residents will also have been without running water from Thursday evening and across much of the weekend. I hope everyone is OK now, and please do let us know if we can support your family in any way. The challenge of this has bought out the best in our community and I know lots of people were looking out for each other.

Thank you once again for your ongoing support. It is really appreciated. The last thing we ever want to do is have to close our doors.
