September Restart (Information for all years) | NEW Parent App Launched - Register now!
Published 26/08/20AppleLink
New College Parent App Launches!
As a school, we're keen to build on the positive home/college working relationships that were developed during the lockdown period in the last academic year. As a result, we are proud to launch AppleLink, our own custom mobile and web application to ensure that we can communicate effectively and directly with parents. From launch, you'll be able to see a wealth of information about your child, including any homework that has been set, your child's timetable and daily schedule. As you'll be aware, our restart timetable is subject to change, and the latest information will always be displayed within AppleLink. We'll no longer be using the SIMS Parent App for this Academic Year.
If we have your mobile phone number or email address on your child's SIMS form, you will be able to register yourself and login in a simple easy to follow process. Where we have an email address, we will also be sending a 'weekly round-up' each week of your child's homework, house points, messages we have sent you and key upcoming events for the following week.
From Monday 7th September, you'll be able to register an account online (via the link above), with our mobile App now live in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
We'd hope all parents, where possible, will now install our app - both for ongoing parent communication, but also in the event of a local lockdown or other guidance that means we're unable to open the school to students full time. With AppleLink and our new Student Hub, we've got the tools in place to continue remote/blended learning and support our students to the fullest extent possible.
